DIGIMCollege Fair Bradley Fall 23' w/B. Simone
More than 500 students from Peoria area high schools converged on Bradley University’s campus this week for the annual fall @digimcoach College fair put on by @theyanicollective . This year’s fair featured comedian and actress B. Simone, who did a Q&A with participants about her career journey in entertainment.
In addition to the browsing fair of colleges from around the country, the DIGIM event hosted breakout sessions with industry experts in the areas of business and entrepreneurship, government & non-profit, trades, STEM, healthcare, arts & entertainment and sports.
One of the panelists was Peoria native Bob Robinson, one half of the super producer duo, Tim & Bob. The pair graduated from Richwoods and went on to win 3 Grammy Awards and sell more than 400 million records worldwide, working alongside artists like Boyz II Men, Dr. Dre, Destiny’s Child, Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige and Earth, Wind & Fire.
The sports panel featured Peoria grown and Bradley’s own Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics and chairman of the NCAA D-1 Men’s March Madness selection committee, Chris Reynolds.
